Colter's plan to combat ICE
Our three-part plan focuses on three tangible ways the city can help protect residents from the Trump administration’s illegal usage of ICE to terrorize our neighborhoods.

-
Tracking and Reporting ICE: We will use existing city aerial resources, such as helicopters and drones, to track and confirm reported ICE activity. We will also establish a system to inform residents, neighborhood councilmembers, and local LAPD officers in each neighborhood when ICE activity has been confirmed.
-
Punishing Businesses who Contract with ICE: We will use punitive measures to ensure our local businesses are not contracting with ICE. This includes using the city’s power of imminent domain to seize property from businesses who contract with ICE.
-
Resources for those Affected by ICE: We will provide direct monetary, food, and other support for families affected by ICE’s actions.
